This holiday rag doll was made out of old linen pants that were tea stained to look old. It is an original, because no pattern was utilized for the body parts that were cut and sewn together with Frankenstein style hand stitching. Her legs and arms move easily for positioning. Her name is primitive Carol and she comes with a hand sewn primitive teddy bear. An old Christmas tea towel was cut for her clothing. My primitive process includes tea, coffee, acrylic paint, and sand paper. The whole process takes about fifteen hours, but my hand needs to rest for a week before I start a new one.
