The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
(Robert Frost, Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening)
The text is manipulated to be unreadable, to suggest runes or otherworldly writing - it's there, against an illusion of layered dimension, because it reminds me of someone. (I use it to focus my mind.)
It happened to make a successful print. On paper it has an attractive visual impact - strong, clean color and interesting contrast between misty and crisp textures. There is nothing representational in the image.
