This piece is done in earthy, deep colors, and was rendered with a palette knife. The iridescent gold just sets the piece on fire when light hits it, which inspired the title. I focused on movement and the way my feelings guided me when creating this painting...I let the emotions flow while keeping to a fiery palette that sparked something deep inside of me. To date this is one of my favorite paintings that I've created, and I hope others enjoy it as well. *Painted on a 16x16 canvas with deep gallery wrapped staple free sides. Sides are painted black.*
