This piece is dark, with flecks of gold mica shining through the darkness. As I painted this with brush and palette knife, I purposely kept the paint very matte and dark, while letting bits of mica shine through the depths. Painting this, I wanted to show that even through the depths of despair, there can be light and good. You just have to look for it, like gold in a mine....gather your riches and come out of the dark. *SOLD*
