The concept is the dust rising across the sun, coloring it red, after a stampeding herd of zebra has passed. This is a commission piece, designed for a contemporary living room. the colors are black & white with red accents. The technique is drybrush over a highly textured surface on a gallery wrapped canvas. There are several layers of color and shading to bring dimension to the piece. It's sealed with a high gloss acrylic finish.
