The name of this work comes from the source of the image. This image comes from a moose skull. I zoomed in around the ocipital socket. The family and species of the moose is Alces Alces. This is a prime example of my process of finding an object (moose skull), picking an area to zoom in on(ocipital socket) and letting the work tranform into its own image. Very few people would guess that this surreal landscape/cave was actually a skull.
