Number 65 in my award winning Polish Pottery Still Life Series. I set up this painting really loving the mix of colors, a real Americana feel it had for me with the red of the strawberries and the white/blue in the pottery. I just love that about this. The eggs are from my chickens. We get a nice assortment of eggs from them in blues, greens, tans, olive green and dark brown. Just beautiful.
I was near the end of this painting when we evacuated from the Black Forest fire as we live in the forest. I gathered a few of my paintings.. I couldn't take everything and hoped I could come back to this painting. We are very fortunate the fire did not jump the road to our neighborhood in the forest .. VERY lucky.. did I say Lucky?.. Too many homes were lost it's a sad and scary thing.
I decided that I will auction this piece off at a low start price with 50% going to a charity involved with this fire. If you like it.. please BID.. Thanks in advance.. I've had a great reaction to this painting so hope it can also help a good cause.
Thank you for looking!
