- Still Life Rich Colors
Still lifes are not my favorite subject matter. Our college instructor would set up a scene and then we would create a painting of what we saw. Often times, the fruit would go bad, but we just kept on painting! (That's what happened to the oranges in this still life).
I enjoyed painting "Still Life Rich Colors" because of the deep, rich colors and texture of the oil paints. My youngest daughter has claimed it as her own. It now hangs in her bedroom, along with several other pieces of my artwork.
