When my grandson first saw this painting, he dubbed it "Dancing Dandelions"; that after I had already entitled it. I was very taken with his perception and decided to include it here in addition to my original choice. This 14"X10" watercolor was rendered on Arches 140lb. cold press paper. The vibrant colors have been applied more opaquely than most watercolorists do, but it suits the subject rather well. The painting has a spring-like quality and speaks of rebirth, renewal, and joy. In a time when we are all unsure of our future, this painting optimistically represents the continuum of life and hope.
