I used a collection of images and objects to create this montage...a delicate drawing of a Victorian bride I did years ago, a photo from the bottom of an old box of anonymous ancestors, the twisted limbs of an oak tree, and the porcelain miniature my cousin found in the walls of an old house they were tearing down--it is now mine. All these things seemed to go together to capture the mood of the past, of my family's history...
