I created this mixed-media a few years ago. I love rich fabrics and this lady has a lot of them; moire silk for her top, silky velvet skirt vintage lace for her shawl and her stockings. The face has been hand-painted and she has a very prim expression. Her neckpiece is a piece of vintage jewelry. Her hair is a lovely silk roving.
She can sit if you like or she has a hanging cord on the back so she can be displayed on a wall.
