This is the first painting of a new series that I am calling; Freudian Slip. I have been studying the paintings of Lucien Freud and love the almost unreal way that he painted people. He showed every blemish and wrinkle and layer of fat, the heads sometimes seemed misshapen. I am adding a red slip to every painting and using a play on words of his grandfathers' (Sigmund Freud) studies into the human mind.
Original one of a kind acrylic painting, not a print or copy. Signed and dated on front, signed, dated and titled on back.
