Art: Pearl and Mona - SOLD - by Artist Nancy Denommee

This is my entry in the Nibblefest Art Contest, a themed contest beginning on the 20th of each month. Please be sure to search for NFAC to see more great entries, each starting at just .99. Thanks Since this months theme is "retro" I decided to do a painting of two women sharing morning coffee. This was really a big thing in the fifties when most women stayed at home. ( I actually remember my mother hiding from a neighbour who would arrive on our doorstep at 9am and stay until 4pm. ) I used an ad from a 1959 Mccall's magazine for inspiration.
