Art: Still Life with Wibble II by Artist Vicky Knowles

This little guy is pretty nerbbis, sitting there perched on top of that jar of glazing medium, so high off the table - he might fall! You can see in his eye that he's wishing I would just hurry up already so he can go.

I don't normally paint still lives, or even from life much at all, so this painting is something of an anomaly for me. The Wibble in question is actually a needle felted bear-like creature (ok I admit I don't know what it really is) that I made awhile ago. I'm telling you this so you all dont* think I cheated and made up something to stick on a jar and called it a still life. I'm including a photo of him in the "details" section here.

*Please note: I tried to include an apostrophe in "dont" but the system here insisted on displaying it as gobbeldy-gook, despite repeated attempts. I don't know why the apostrophes showed up ok in other words here.
