This is a RIP of Beth Fidel's painting, Gathering Feathers, originally started for the annual Ripped Off show but sadly not finished in time. I used Repousse to render the work in copper sheet. I used punches and hammers to acheive the various textures and forms. Bith's painting is a pwerful and moving work and I felt draw to use it as a point of departure.
