This is my entry for the Flower of the month show for March. In January Kris jean, Donna Gill Colestock and I worked from the same model to do the flower of the month show then: an orchid. This month we reprise our performance by working from the same bunch of daffodils. What fun!

My entry is a full blown repousse piece in copper, one of the largest pieces I have done, Repousse is a technique using a thin flat sheet of metal and altering it with punches and hammers to get the form you want. This started as a sheet of copper, 18 gauge in thickness. It took a period of ten days to get to this point.
