This is "Hiding Place"

As a child growing up I was lucky enough to have a huge back yard with woods...and plenty of hiding places.

This was the view looking out from my hiding place.

This painting has several layers of texture.

The blue sky is painted to look almost wavy...like looking into the past.

The leaves are iridescent and metallic greens. Every shade of green you can think of.

Then the firefly glow and the huge dragonflies.

Do you ever see them together?...probably not. But in my world they coexist.

The dragonflies have large wings detailed in genuine gold and silver leaf.

The canvas had been double coated in professional satin artist varnish to protect your investment.

The sides are painted in satin black.

This painting is ready to hang.
