Leotie
defenition: Flower of the Prairie
Female Native American Indian name
The sides are 1.5” deep and painted in a satin black.
All the colors are all in a warm hue. This is quite an intriguing piece. Texture is the main conversation piece. I created wheat in a metallic 3-D paint. Rich copper highlight the bottom of this painting. The pampas grass lookks like lavender, but it is actually violet interference paint which changes color in different light.
This is gallery wrapped with staple free edges and ready to hang. The painting has an extra stretcher bars through the middle for extra support.
“Leotie Dragonflies” is coated in a high quality artist varnish to protect its beauty from the elements.
