This is the last in a series of 3 American flags. This abstract was done after 9-11 and symbolizes the courage, struggle and sacrifice of all Americans. The colors bleed , but do not run. The colors appear choppy and blurred, disoriented...This painting was originally intended to be hung upside down to symbolize distress, however, for this exhibit , I have chosen to show the flag in the upright position.
