Media: My latest in the dime store dollies project. This was one of those truly ugly Bratz baby rip off dolls. Her head and limbs kept falling off. I remounted the head using elastics around the neck knob to hold it firm, and glued the arms and legs into place using a type of white glue, but much stronger.

She was primed and them hand painted with artists acrylics. I painted her T-shirt and added little "dance pants” striped stockings and Mary-Jane shoes in paint.

I really like the way her eyes turned out this time.

I work only with dolls that are in great need of help! Vintage dolls beyond restoration or cheap dime store dolls who would normally be thrown away quickly by uninterested children.

These dolls are intended as ART and will not stand up to play.They are not safe as children's toys
