As we were doing our fall cleaning in the garden, our holly tree caught my eye. Suddenly a painting, with some of my best granulating paints began to take shape in my mind. Holly is considered an "Evergreen" so I've entered it in the 2013 Flower of the Month Exhibit.
This is a unique, one of a kind painting. It incorporates many of the special effects of my Enchanted series of paintings, and features some beautiful Daniel Smith granulating paints blended into an impressionistic background – all to create a unique style and interpretation of nature.
It measures 14.75 wide x 10.74 high and is painted with artist quality paints on artist quality 140lb Rough Press paper.
