I painted this from some photos I took of my Dad's garden a couple of years ago. My Dad has passed away since then but he was a very keen gardener and I often took photos of the flowers from his garden to use for reference. What attracted me to the fuchsias was the colours and the shape, as well as the textures of the flowers.
