This is an 18″ × 36″ mixed media acrylic on stretched canvas. I used acrylic paint, silicone and pouring medium to create dried paint skins. I glued these on in some parts of the painting.

The first in a series I am creating of strong women. Inspired by all the strong women that I know, especially my daughter and mother, both who struggle with mental illness.
