I love the contrast of the foggy background in earthy colors against the white flowers in the foreground. This image is exactly as painted. (I had orginally played around with the digital file in PhotoShop, applying the Gaussian Blur filter. However, while that turned out nicely, I decided that I really liked the original painting better, and so I submitted the photo of the original to the Bokeh show. While the blur aspect of the painting is more subtle, I really like the effect of the flowers coming out of the mist.
