I can't stop painting poppies! Maybe it is because I am a California native..? I don't know. This painting actually was meant as a Mother's Day present to my mom but then she hinted she wanted a computer~lol.~so, now I need to pay for a computer! lol It is a landscaped back ground with wonderful rich colors with my small brush strokes, burnt umber, dark oxide green, and red oxide in layers up the canvas~ I used my new fav antique and white in the middlw to seperate the blue sky from the rich landscape, and of course, cad red and cad yellow to make my pretty California poppies. Painting black on 1.5 inch edges not mean to be framed. Give someone you love a belated Mother's Day present they are sure to love! All my work is signed and comes with a COA.
