Trees are an endless source of inspiration for me, so what better subject for a series of paintings? A favorite childhood pass time was to climb into one of the trees in our yard. Hidden in the branches I would find a comfortable perch where I could read or just look down on the world below.

I love the uncompromising red and bold form of the leaves in this painting.
