ONE of a KIND art Signed DSprague..This piece is ready to hang with a hanger on the back. It is made using ceramic clay, bisque fired in a kiln. Once cooled it is glazed with specialty mineral glazes I mix here in the studio and refired to 1850 degrees. ONce it reaches this point I pull it RED hot from the kiln with special equiptment and place it in a pit of Oregon pine needles. The smoking effect is what causes the beautiful metallic copper colors.
