How would you like to have this on one of your main streets? I live in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada and this bridge crosses the St. Lawrence River to land in the USA, with a pit stop in Akwesasne on Cornwall Island. (There's actually two bridges and this is on the Canadian side.) As you drive down one of the main streets, you drive right along beside it. (It's a little scary when you hear and feel transports **rumbling** along, way up high over top of you! But, it's coming down soon, to be replaced by a much lower one and will be much closer to the river instead of right smack in the middle of town. This high one was built to allow large ships to pass through the Seaway, but at this point of the St. Lawrence Seaway System, they pass under the American side.
I shot this pic because of the reflections in the street.
And wouldn't you know it? On those really foggy days in the fall, when the bridge seems to disappear into the fog, I never seem to have my camera!
Shot with a digital Fuji camera. The only manipulations are some cropping.
