Most of us have known as least one person afflicted by breast cancer and the traumatic effect is has on them. The color pink is a color in the spectrum which seems to lift one's spirit and have a soothing affect. It also the color of the symbolic ribbon worn by supporters of the Susan Komen Foundation for the Cure, and is the appropriate choice for the theme in this month's show.

The soft, warm color is also a gentle reminder of the missing breast or breasts, whereas the center represents the stigma attached to this insidious disease.
