Originally created in the violent days of late Vietnam, it seems once again to be all to relevant. Inspired by Goya's saturn Devouring his Children a painting which has always been a metaphore of life for me in times of depression. Forgive me for submitting a work which may not be in the joyous/macabre spirit of the Day of the Dead but then again maybe it's okay. As Mark Twain said, "Why take life so seriously, no one gets out of it alive anyway." Happy Halloween!
