I created this original dragonfly and cattails ACEO on a standard 2.5 X 3.5 trading card sized acid free illustration board using acrylic and sealing with a light clear acrylic gloss.

This began as a pencil sketch in my sketch book along with a few other "storybook" pieces I wanted to create. This is the second in the "storybook" series. I had only color ideas for sky and water and though they are close they are not as I had planned, but around here plans need to be flexible. I allowed this piece to unfold as it wanted, and this is what came to be.
