I created this original ladybug ACEO on a standard 2.5 X 3.5 trading card sized acid free illustration board using acrylic and sealing with a light clear acrylic gloss.

This is my first "ladybug" painting I've created. I was inspired to try a different "bug" for the show since my favorite insects to paint are dragonflies and butterflies...here I wanted to do something a bit different.

"Storybook Ladybug" sold to a private collector in VA.
