6"x6" oil on linen panel I forced myself not to open Cd red or Cd orange to paint this - just to see what would happen. I used RYB and my 3 earths instead. I didn't get the exact oranges I was seeing but what I did get was a surprising color scheme that represented what I saw and felt well. I like to be surprised by my paintings.
