private collection This piece shows a girl walking in a forest but the environment is also suburban. I grew up with forests nearby to play in but todays kids have suburbs and city streets for the most part. I wanted to show how nature can be a part of suburbia and bring one peace through contemplation. I use charcoal for my line work and oil for color. My two main concerns are color and line so it makes sense that I choose my favorite materials to express each aspect. Thanks for looking! :)
