There was only one moment that I was sad during my trip in California. It was when I realized, that even in January when the air was cool, smog hung at the horizon like a used coffee filter. I wanted to filter it with a huge machine and blow it back out clean. Of course, running a huge machine would just make more smog! *sigh*
