Carroll uses a variety of media to express her creativity, from dry media such as pastels and charcoals to most recently, a new love of working with clay. 

Carroll enjoys the raw, hands on physicality of these media.  It provides a certain hands-on connection to the work that is missed when using a brush or other tools and mediums.
