I was having difficulty coming up with anything I was happy with for the Candy show until one day in the forums one of the members shared a memory of his grandmother (thanks John!). He remembered how she always had candy that she shared with him in church. This memory brought back one I have of my Great Grandfather and the candy he kept in a drawer in his kitchen. These are such warm and happy memories I wanted to get that feeling in an image. I created this using the scanner, Photoshop and Painter. I wanted the feel of grandparents and the warmth and love we all get from them. I focused on grandmothers because this was the image that started all my thoughts. Thus, I used pearls, roses, lace and of course, candy in the scan to create the final image.
