Grandma's Pears dedicated to my grandmother and her love of Pears. My Grandmother raised and sold fresh pears. The following is her recipe for Fresh Pears

1 Five Acre Pear Orchard
1 Ladder
1 wooden box
1 plowed furrow

Proceed to pear tree and using ladder pick freshest pear in the tree. Place in Box. Climb down from ladder. Standing in furrow between the trees in the hot summer sun bite into the fragrant and juicy pear.

My Grandmother loved her pears and she loved sharing them. I remember the golden color and taste of summer. I don't like pears, but hers I loved.
