ARTIST STATEMENT:

As a thoroughly introspective person, I have loved to live in the world of my imagination since childhood. It has always been easier to express my thoughts and inner world through pictures and music rather than words.
I don't often start paintings with a lot of planning. I like to dive right in, and let them come to life intutively. My favorite mediums are watercolor and colored pencil, and I gravitate towards themes of innocence, cuteness, comfort, nature, and being caught between two worlds.

BIO:

I live in sunny Northern California with my equally imaginative, sweet husband and two impish cats, Kiba and Opal. I love birdwatching, reading, crochet, sewing, chocolate, children's books, video games, movies, the outdoors, cats, singing and playing musical instruments, and God's amazing creations!
