This is a freehand digital collage, and all the textures are feathers (except for Joey's nose, which is a rose petal). The background texture is hand-made paper, and the whole thing is slightly digitally altered as well.

He looked like such a charming, lovely little fellow, and I tried very hard to capture his unique and sweet personality in the piece.
