This is a digital illustration of the Port of Green Bay as seen from the Tower Drive/Leo Friego Bridge over look the industrial section below.

Of course the days is cloudy, and water churning up muck, everything see to be another shade of beige, but the is a quiet, peacefulness I find in the gritt and grime of this city's port.  A place of passage if you will, work the real work starts, away from the busyness of the business and political agendas that drive it.

I did take a low res reference shot with my IPhone, but it should go without saying that I completely reillustrated the scene in painter and pulled it into Photoshop for the finishing touches.
