"Ruminations on Mortality", yet another installment in my "Contemplations on Being a Woman" series depicts 8 female entities escaping into the depths of the abstracted canvas. I have done several in this vein previous, but to me it is worth further exploration as the afterlife fascinates me yet intimidates me all at once. The spirit lives on and travels through eternity lost, yet at home. The women in the piece tread unfamiliar ground yet know they are home....
