"Outerspace" revels in the splendor of the kind of chaotic detail only a fine pencil can acheive. Subtle tonal changes thrive in the deep blacks and progressive grays thanks to my trusty compressed charcoal stick. From a distance a unique texture layers areas of the work. Upon closer inspection the texture sharpens to a miriad of tiny graffite and white conte pointilistic marks. Swirls of tight lines of charcoal weave in and out of the blackness creating my very own slice of heaven.
