This little painting is about life--sometimes you have to kiss a frog to get your Prince. Sometimes the "Prince" is actually life itself, life and our family and love. The colors are beautiful tints of quinacridone coral and pink, plus lemon yellow, emerald green and cyan blue. A touch of umber for shadows is there as well, but most of the paints are very transparent tints to give a glowing flesh tone and a soft, natural look to the lips.
