Art: John Coltrane 2 by Artist Tristam Douglas
SOLD John Coltrane was a genius. His music is very complex and is often described as “sheets of sound.” Coltrane was a deeply spiritual man and saw himself as a channel of God's music. To me Coltrane always appeared intense and moody when playing and at rest but he always had an emptiness about his eyes when not playing, an empty vessel.
