Such delicate, fast, beautiful little birds. They are one of the jewels of nature. Humming birds are special. They are small, flying moments of magic, and when we see them, we are spellbound.

Collage done on mat board. Page from Norton's Musical scores of Schumann's Piano Concerto #1. Painting of humminbirds from book on 18th century bird paintings. Vintage buttons, numbers. I used a wash over the music for a more vintage look. Coated with acrylic varnish.
