I had just purchased my new camera, and we had a summer rain shower (not uncommon in the Pacific Northwest). I wanted to see how well I could do with some close-up photography and this green and yellow striped tropical type summer plant on our deck seemed like the perfect subject. I was so excited to capture this abstract looking leaf with sprinkled with raindrops. I just had to include it in the 2015 April exhibit!
