Art: If Trees Had Feet Would They Walk With Us? by Artist Virginia Ann Zuelsdorf
This painting was inspired by a walk in the woods. I've always felt that trees were almost human, thus the feet. Do they follow us or walk alongside us? Are they there for support, mentally and physically?

My trees are mysterious, with darkness behind them. It is night.

The trees inexplicable feet present an enigma or puzzle to all and especially to those who love trees as I do. Maybe those roots really do walk when we're not looking. Or, as a friend and patron told his granddaughter, "this is what's left when they make the wooden shoes in Holland".
