This week's theme: Birthdays

Yesterday a friend of mine had a birthday party. There was a piñata, a bouncy house and of course, cake. That young man's birthday inspired this week's Art Of The Day theme. Since we cannot commemorate everyone's birthday, please consider this our belated/early birthday greeting to you.

Art: HAPPY BIRTHDAY by Artist Claudia Roulier

This piece is made from overlays, stamps, vintage tissue paper, ledger paper, photo and collaged ephemera. This canvas is different in that the sides are collaged as if they are a part of the original piece Actual photos were used along with paint, stamps and old ephemera.

Canvases are gallery wrap with collage and painted sides ready to hang. As always everything is sealed and signed.
