A "Tudor Roses" (J & G Meakin, England) tea pot gave its life for this rich-looking vase. I chose a complementary chintz pattern for the top, black onxy beads for the neck, and 22K gold-on-white background shards. The Black Cherry grout really provides a great contrast.
The vase stands 9" x 5 1/2". I've leafed the inside of the neck and the base and it can be used for living flowers as long as the standing water levels stay below the leafing. The piece has been sealed to protect it from water and stains.
(I apologize for not having a photo of the back just now but it is the same large rose as on the front, minus the stems, with the gold-on-white background shards.)
